Arrival at Dades Valley

In the late afternoon, we arrive at the picturesque Dades Valley, often called the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” The dramatic landscape of red cliffs and scattered kasbahs is truly a sight to behold. Enjoy a relaxing evening at a charming local riad or hotel, where a traditional Moroccan dinner will be served.

Todra Gorge: Morocco’s Grand Canyon

After breakfast, we set off toward the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs reach heights of up to 300 meters. This dramatic canyon is perfect for a leisurely walk along the riverbed, where you’ll marvel at the natural beauty of this geological wonder.

Journey Through Berber Villages

From Todra Gorge, we drive through a series of Berber villages and arid landscapes, stopping at small towns like Tinjdad and Erfoud. These towns offer a glimpse into daily life in the region and are known for their local craftsmanship, especially Erfoud’s fossil workshops.

Camel Trekking into the Erg Chebbi Dunes

As we approach Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes, the scenery transforms into an ocean of golden sand. Upon arrival, you’ll begin a magical camel trekking experience, journeying into the heart of the desert. The ride offers stunning views of the dunes as the sun casts mesmerizing shadows across the sands.

Overnight in a Desert Camp

Your evening will be spent at a luxurious desert camp, surrounded by the tranquility of the Sahara. Sunrise Over the Dunes
